PEANUT BUTTER BISCUITS 5 INGREDIENTS

Picked up one of those free recipe cards from Coles during the week.

Pleasantly surprised at how nice they are

PEANUT BUTTER BISCUITS  5 INGREDIENTS

375 GRAMS SMOOTH PEANUT BUTTER. (I ONLY HAD CRUNCH)

¾ CUP BROWN SUGAR

1EGG

200 GRAMS CHOCLATE MELTS OR JUST CHOPPED CHOCOLATE.  I CHOPPED THE CHOCOLATE UP MYSELF...DID NOT WANT LARGE LUMPS OF IT.

BLEND ALL TOGETHER..I USED A HAND MIXER.

ROLL INTO BALLS.AND THEN LIGHTLY FLATTEN WITH FORK

PLACE ON TRAY LINED WITH BAKING PAPER

BAKE AT 150 DEGREES.... FAN FORCED OVEN FOR 15 MINS OR UNTIL BROWN.

LET COOL ON TRAY FOR 5 MINUTES TO FIRM UP.

I ALWAYS KEEP MY BISCUITS IN A CONTAINER IN FRIG.

What's the 5th ingredient? You only listed, peanut butter, eggs, sugar and chocolate.

OOPS......my error....only FOUR ingredients.

Veggies - the redder the better !

PS: just asked the wife who is one of the best cooks in the land. You add beetroot puree and they look like this

Bit of baking powder and vanilla extract would be good too Radish

The biscuits are fine the way they are.   Why put baking powder?  There is no flour in there.

You can download an ebook from here.  I noticed the recipe in here and they had a mix of castor sugar and brown sugar but I got this recipe from one of those cards they gave away from in Coles.  No idea why it differs slightly.

There are some good little easy recipes in here and I will make the one that has chili in them.
