Peter Dutton’s on air break down

A father whose 18-year-old son was killed in a cowardly one-punch attack has broken down while thanking Immigration Minister Peter Dutton for deporting the killer’s accomplice.

Cole Miller’s father Steve today rang radio station 2GB to express his gratitude to Mr Dutton, who personally took his dismayed phone call the day Maxwell walked free.

“I advised him of the circumstances, he got onto the Queensland police and the Border Force immediately, and that illegal immigrant was taken back into custody by 6.30pm that night and held for deportation to New Zealand, and I just want to thank Peter for that.”

Mr Miller became emotional as he thanked the minister.

“He didn’t know me from a bar of soap, and the guy’s a champion,” he said.

Emotion was also apparent in Mr Dutton’s voice as he responded to Mr Miller’s call.

“It’s an emotional thing, it really is,” Mr Dutton said. “Thanks to Steve, I’m so sorry to his family.”

"A teenage girl allegedly involved in the bashing of an American doctor and his teenage son as they left the Australian Open has had her bail varied so she can attend a school excursion."

This is the poor tourist who had to have his face reconstructed, so this was a very violent and serious assault.

Sadly, just another crazy day in the Victorian courts.

Probably won't see this reported on the ABC.

Peter Dutton was once a policeman and knows how those cowards think. He is sure and steadfast in liberal values . We need to return to Australian values, drop all this PC stuff, help Aussi pensioners have a better life and have an education system which teaches respect for the Australian way of life.

What a contrast to the “do-gooders” in Victoria where a scum bag like this would get a slap on the wrist. Australia needs more leaders like Mr Dutton. Bravo Peter!

On ya bike! Some 160 foreign-born bikies have been booted out of Australia since tough new laws were introduced three years ago in a drive led by newly appointed Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton.

Andrew Bolt, Herald SunFebruary 8, 2018 2:25am

Why is SBS using taxpayers' money to spread racial hatred and fake news about refugees and terrorism?  How is Andrew P Street's article in the public interest and why is it spread with our cash? Check it out.

Take this fake news;

It doesn’t help that we have talkback radio hosts firing people up about immigrants who have it too good, and politicians like Pauline Hanson and Tony Abbott blaming refugees for terrorism – a claim which ASIO chief Duncan Lewis flatly denied existed last year, thereby drawing sustained criticism of the spy agency from Andrew Bolt and Ray Hadley.

Fake twice over. Lewis actually corrected his claim:

Mr Lewis has conceded that three fatal terrorist attacks in Australia in recent years have involved either refugees or the children of refugees.

In fact, contrary to Street's implication, refugees carried out the last fourterrorist attacks in Australia.

Did Street wilfully mislead or is he simply astonishingly ill-informed? Either way, why is SBS publishing him - with our cash?

Likewise this stoking of dangerous race grievances:

...unlike young African migrants, angry white men are an actual and growing terrorist threat.

False again. The last deadly terrorist attack in Victoria was carried out by an African migrant - from Somalia. Other Africans - from Algeria and Somalia - were jailed over plots to bomb the MCG or attacks the Holsworthy army base. Not a single terrorist attack in Australia has been carried out by the far more numerous white men of Australia.

Anyone that does these coward punches or such  needs to have very heavy penalties not a slap on the wrist or a few months in jail

We need to do exactly what Dutton is doing send these thugs home .

May your God help us if Labor /Greens get back into power and release into the community thousands of undocumented arrivals and then don’t let them work

Liberal senator Jim Molan has accepted a second apology from Greens MP Adam Bandt, who has promised to make a donation to a veterans organisation “as an expression of my sincerity over this issue”.

Mr Bandt has caved into defamation threats and issued his second public apology to Senator Molan in as many days, after being told his initial “six-word apology” was insufficient.

The Melbourne MP has been widely criticised for calling Senator Molan a “coward” and suggesting he could have committed war crimes.

“On Wednesday, I made statements about Senator Jim Molan on Sky TV in relation to his service in Iraq,” Mr Bandt in a statement late today.

“I wish to publicly say that I was wrong to make such accusations and inferences against Senator Molan.

“I sincerely apologise and express my regret to Senator Molan and to those who have served in Australia’s operational theatres and to their families and friends who were offended by my comments.

“I propose to make a donation to a veterans organisation as an expression of my sincerity over this issue.”

Senator Molan said he was pleased with Mr Bandt’s apology and he would not pursue defamation proceedings.

Peter Dutton should have taken him to court.

People who vote for Bandt and his lot ought to take a good look at themselves.

I care not one iota that the NZ Prime Minister is very upset that we are sending back NZ criminals.

44% who have gone back have committed offences over there.

It is our right like every other country to kick out non citizens who have broken the law.

I hope it is a lesson that is getting through to those still here who may be contemplating a life of crime.

If she’s so upset she can retaliate by sending Aussie criminals back from NZ

probken is there’s not too many over there
