How is it done on this site. I've tried a few times but come up blank.

I myself use firefox and I also have the  -- Snipping Tool  -- easy as with that as to snip the photo --pic -- you want to post and copy and past it here

Go to the picture you want to copy

right click 'copy image address'

Go to insert/edit image (green tree at top of post)

add the address

insert

okay

I don’t have the snipping tool on my computer system to copy and paste so I have to follow Toot’s advice.

If the pics are only on your computer...

you may have to join and upload them to an image storage website like https://imgur.com or https://www.flickr.com so you can then control click and paste the internet URL into the YLC “green tree” dialogue box.
