Quesadillas

Went out for coffee this morning and saw these on the menu.  Did not order but as I had some tortillas in my freezer decided to make some for lunch.

I just made with ham, cheese, sun dried tomato and my chili relish but I will make this recipe next time.  Gets good reviews.

Let us know what it is like

Read the recipe, my mouth is watering.......

No good in my house.  Hubby wouldn't eat it.  I despair as I have tried for him to be more adventurous with his food for 52 years now.

I notice on the website  that Coles has teamed up with Taste.  I've been using the new site that Woolworths has for months now.  Called Foodiful and they have some great recipes.

Thanks for the link Sandi. Have bookmarked it as I have a local Woolies just down the road.

:) Like their Stuffed chicky eggs. Cute Easter treat.

Thanks for the links Sandi & RnR, have book marked the eggs.....

I have cooked lots of the recipes on there and each one has been great.  I store a recipe in favourites and if we like it and agree we would have it again,  I then print it out.

Am making Salmon Pilaf for Good Friday for the walkers returning from the Heysen Trail.  Have already tried it, just to make sure it was OK.  It was.

Love one pot dishes.

What a shame Sandi.  Hubby is a bit like that but I just dish up and he eats it.  I asked would he eat the quesadilla again and he said "nothing wrong with that" (that is as close as I got to yes it was fine  lol).

When we first got married he was a bit staid in his dress...soon fixed that LOL.

Had to laugh when he saw his ex wife about 10 or so years ago she remarked on his dress sense (in a complimentary way)  LOL.

Sandi thanks for the link.

I usually use www.taste.com...so many great recipes on the internet I am thinking of ditching all my cookbooks which take up so much space.

Easier to just download onto my little usb stick and save the ones I like on there.  If I try one and don't like it I just delete.

I like one pot dishes too and the less ingredients the better as well.  My eyes glaze over when I see a recipe with 20 ingredients or more.

Radish

Thank your hubby for the  on the quesadilla

Thanks to Sandi & RnR for the great links

The eggs look like a divine treat for Easter.

Raddy My hubby won't eat any spices, sauces, gravies, pickles, chillies, coriander, curries , vinegar, mayonaise, olives.  He will only eat Iceberg lettuce

I have got him around to have Oyster Sauce,  garlic and ginger in some things.  When we got married he hadn't had any of those things and had never had any pasta of any sort.

His mum was a meat and 3 veg only.  He will now have 1 Brussel Sprout only because we all nagged him.  My kids eat everything virtually, but it's meant that when we have something he won't eat I have to make him a separate meal.

Sandi....I take my hat off to you  LOL...you poor thing.

My ex was a darn fussy eater.   Would not eat any vegetables other than salad (i.e. lettuce tomato, carrot, cucumber about it).  Would pick peas out of fried rice!!!

One of the questions I would ask (if heaven forbid I ever thought of living with anyone again LOL) "do you eat everything"?   If not...he will get the flick.   Too much hassle for me these days.

I have a girlfriend I have known since she was 18 and myself 15..we worked together.  She never ate anything other than white bread rolls with vegemite for lunch ".every day".  Eventually found out that she has never eaten any fruit (never tried any...could not come at it)and still to this day in her mid-70's only eats white bread, ham, vegemite and no fruit or veg apart from potatoes.  I have no idea how she is not sick.  Because of her eating habits she hates going out for meals with friends.

We were having a chat once and I said it was a shame that she has never tasted watermelon, rockmelon, grapes etc.  She admitted that she has a problem but that is how she is...her poor mother tried everything apparently but she would only eat limited foods.  Thankfully she was a good mother to her two boys and they eat everything
