I am nearing the last stage in my life and made the decision to relocate from Melbourne to the Gold Coast. I arrived 31st. March. I was so tired of catering to four adult grandchildren who were uncaring, inconsiderate, ungrateful and more! I sold my home, did all the packing and cleaning etc, but had no idea where to start finding a truck to take all my furniture etc. All the ones I contacted online wanted to know measurements and quantity and other questions I didn't understand. My mind still wants to work in feet and inches. By sheer chance, I was referred to a Qld. company. I couldn't believe my luck. The company is a family business and the lady who answers the phone and emails was my 'angel'. She immediately put my mind at rest and assured me I would be looked after. I had already packed the majority of boxes plus what furniture I would be taking and paintings, mirrors which would need taking off the walls. She asked me what date I needed and she gave me a quote which was way below what others had quoted. She stayed in contact with me all the time and assured me if I had more questions, she would be there for me. The pickup went without a hitch and is in storage here for when I need it.
