Researchers are creepily close to predicting when you’re going to die
Research published in Nature Communications journal showed a blood test for 14 markers was about 83% accurate at predicting death within both five years and 10 years in a sample of 7,600 Finnish people monitored for 16 years. The accuracy dropped to about 72% when predicting deaths for people over 60 years old so tick for retirees.
The test was based on analysis of 44,000 people aged between 18 and 109 over a 17 year period.
