Review times

My wife has been receiving special benefit for over 12 months. The 13 week reviews are done with no problems however the latest reveiew has been completed in good time by her and all documents uploaded and verified.

Her payment was not changed to a future date, she was short paid due to the reveiw date.

I called them and they said its not been reveiwed as yet this was over 10 days ago and still it sits on Mygov as the last payment, her next payment is due on the 12th of November but nothing is showing I need to know if anyone has had longer than normal reveiew times. We have to pay rent if no payment arrives we are in a position of having to find extra money to pay because no payment is showing when the rent is due. I waited over 1 hour on the phone last time. Maybe its been a stopped payment but we don't get any advice at all its very frustrating not to know. This is the first time it has not been paid or has been reveiwed. Nothing has changed. Why does it take such a long time to know what is going on with a reveiw now?

Whilst I have no personnal experience with Special Benefit Payments but you may find this link helpful

https://www.humanservices.gov.au/individuals/services/centrelink/special-benefit/eligibility-payment-rates

Also you may find it useful to make an appointment with a Centrelink Advisor.

As far as I am aware, the Centrelink advisors have nothing to do with payments/reviews/claims etc, they provide information only. Can you go in and ask what's going on?

Only available ar Canberra no local Centrelink centres phone contact only

Meaning special benefit that is so they tolde at my local Centrelink thanks for the post
