Rita Panahi...Iranian born now Aussie journalist

Very interesting article on the latest uprising in Iran....all Australians should read it.

She is a journalist with the Herald Sun.

We here need to be vigilant and ensure that we do not get Sharia law in any way shape or form.

It is hard to believe that prior to thre Islamic Revolution of 1978-79 women wore mini skirts, beehive hairdos and bathing suits.

I certainly hope they achieve what they are aiming for with the latest uprising in Iran.

The people want change and they deserve it.

It's astonishing that the feminists here in Australia never ever broach the subject of the wearing of the niqab, etc.

Even more astonishing, when we do hear a comment, we're told that it's a matter of choice.   How to explain seeing little girls hardly out of napkins, wearing head coverings , playing in a schoolyard, in a shopping centre, as a choice by those dear little girls.

Rita Panahi is a brave woman, one who is not frightened by the bullying of especially left wing activists, but all who try to force their politically correct views down our throats.

Sadly Radish, readership of newspapers has declined so much, not enough people get to see her commonsense and truth.

And of course, younger people get their news from so called 'social media'.

Radish, it's inevitable that we will have Sharia in Australia because such a huge majority of Muslims practice Sharia. They have teamed up with the Labor Party to speed up the process, this coupled with the disproportionate population increase of those who want Sharia.. it becomes a real possibility in say a decade or so when Labor are in government. There was a formal request for Sharia last time Labor were in office and I expect they will go again with trying to dovetail in the section on Family Law.

Curiously a substantial minority of Muslims believe that Sharia should be open to multiple interpretations.

Well, one foot in the door so to speak will eventually lead to both of them.  I will hopefully be dead before they get it in Australia but I hope they dont.
