Russian robot shoots guns but is not 'Terminator'

A Russian robot codenamed 'FEDOR' has been trained to shoot guns, but is not a 'Terminator'.

Russia's Deputy Prime Minister, Dmitry Rogozin, claims that FEDOR, which stands for Final Experimental Demonstration Object Research, has been trained to shoot to help develop its artifical intelligence.

“Robot platform F.E.D.O.R. showed shooting skills with two hands,” he tweeted

“We are not creating a Terminator, but artificial intelligence that will be of great practical significance in various fields.”

FEDOR can also drive a car, do push-ups, lift weights, crawl and use power tools. Here's a clip of FEDOR in action.
