Scientists have discovered a planet that appears to be similar to Earth circling the star closest to the sun, potentially a major step in the quest to find out if life exists elsewhere in the universe, new research shows.

if ther's anything to be found,the americans will find it.thank the lord for america.

I certainly respect the US space program, but a few other countries are doing space stuff now as well.

When I visited America It was enough of a discovery seeing my long lost relatives without mooching around a space station..half of them were off the planet with dunk'n donuts and coffee...lol

No worries about seeing the place, Great country, magnificent scenery, very friendly people and many warm memories, but there's no place like home...where I could put the kettle on for a cup of tea...:) lol

Looks like the new planet discovery Proxima b might be just the place for human habitation. Exciting news.

Good work by NASA, but the paper said 76,000 years to get there; or possibly 25 years if they can invent a light speed device.

Perhaps we'll have to wait for them to visit us.

I'll leave a note with my will.
