Slimming Powder ISOWHEY

Well all, I'm about to embark on this product shortly, was shown on TV, and is about to arrive in our Pharmacy this coming week. I've ordered the Coffee Creme flavour, it comes in Choc, Strawberry, Vanilla and Coffee, not bad for a lady who doesn't drink coffee every day eh? I weigh between 72 - 74 kilos so I am going to try to get down to 68kilos. If it works as supposed to, then I will be most happy as it is a struggle when you aren't a fittness fanatic or a walker to loose that weight, however, some time ago, I did get my weight down by just drinking green tea (watch out for that slimming green tea!!) if you take it, DO NOT go out of the house for a whole day, you will wear a track out to the loo, it really is a great detox. Also cut out all the breads, any kind, sugar and sweets, flat tummy in no time! but I'm lazy now and want to have my simple pleasures now and then, at 70 yrs old I think I can do it. No, I know I can do it!!

Good for you Gold Class :)

Hi Phil,

Yes that soup diet put out by the Heart Foundation really works, but honestly, in this heat I just couldn't look at it, let alone cook it.

Not looking to loose much, but I am a marriage Celebrant and I need to sustain a certain weight otherwise I won't fit into my outfits for the ceremonies. Not bad for my age, but we can all aim for something this year!

Yes, good on you Carol for taking positive measures - I have lost 6 kilos since last November, not that I was terribly overweight but I was uncomfortable and my cholesterol is high. I have been eating salads,veggies,fruit,non-fat milk, grainy bread, lean meats, plenty of beans; I have cut out things like chocolate and cakes although I allow myself a treat on occasions. I have cut down on alcohol also. I have found green tea helpful.

I also walk briskly for about 40 minutes a day and also do some jogging, and bought a little set of weights to work out with. You not only lose weight but you notice your body subtly reshaping itself which is very heartening, and you can fit into those clothes you love!!

Jacinta, you are an inspiration to me! thankyou.

What is ISOWHEY made of?

Best to check it out on Google Mara. I've slimmed right down, but there is the overhang which I have to work on too!!! let you work that one out!

Should all be explained on this website :)

I've found that the "diet" type of drinks are not the way to go. Half of the filling power of food is in the chewing. Anything just slips down easy, is not quite so satisfying. Just remember - energy in = a greater need for energy out. Walking is great, and just about anyone can do it. Fruit and vegetables are great - quite filling and less calories/energy.
