your lucky Bev,I have been waiting since January to see an ENT specialist in Brisbane.Did see a private one in Jan -couldnt afford his fees 5000 for an op.Plus he told me as he would be working near the eye socket I could end up blind. No thanks rather have the sinus and ear probs than that.

I would have thought that there would be more specialists available in the capital cities. Of course, still waiting for the eye specialist - that's 5 to 9 months. Sometimes you just have to put up with the condition you have, rather than undergo the knife. Wish I'd known that back in 1975. Wouldn't have had the operation with a 95% success rate. I was one of the unfortunate 5%. Totally irreversible of course. Oh well, after all this time, I've become accustomed to the irreversible damage cause by the operation. It could have worked out, if I was lucky..

Just a thought for sinus problems.



I found that sinus problems were relieved by taking garlic pills of all things. Sinus's still run a bit in the early morning on rising but then pack it in for the day and I don't get that I cant breathe panic in the night any longer as my nose no longer blocks right up. Take Herron's as they add oil of peppermint so no reflux. Worth a try. I pay $6.99 for them on line or $8.99 in town at Priceline. My price range.
