Sun spots
My doctor noticed that I had a few sun spots, which needed to be frozen off. I usually go to a sun cancer clinic every couple of years, but this time, I decided that he should be given the chance. I've regretted it ever since last Friday. He didn't just give a good solid burst of the stuff they use - he chose to just give " gentle" ???, little bursts of the stuff. Any one of you who have had the "freeze" know just how much it hurts! Imagine getting the five or more on your face being given about 5 or more "bursts"! ARRGGHH! If only he had given one solid burst, it would have been gone and over with.
Hi BevG I wouldn't go near a 'clinic', my dermatologist found a tiny little freckle on my shoulder he didn't think it was anything to be worried about he just didn't like look of it. Turned ou it was a malignant carcenoma.
A GP would not have picked that up and I could be dead and those clinics are staffed by GP's. Living in this country you need to see a specialist at least once every couple of years.
