Term Allocated Pensions

Hi guys,

We received the below request from member Graeme. Is anyone able to help him out?

Have any readers any experience with trying to change the provider (Superannuation Provider) for there Term Allocated Pensions?

We are finding that our current provider (Asgard) is hitting us with many questionable charges that bare little relation with our investments with them.

We wish to change our named provider but still retain our TAP's without impacting our good relationship with Centrelink.

Appreciate any thoughts anyone may have.

ING  has charges but  are reasonable. You can see what they are online  before you change . The charges vary depending on what area you wan't to invest in . Ing sends the easy to do paperwork to you. They do most of it for you and they will contact your current provider.Regarding Centrelink once the transfer has taken place just tell them and show them the paperwork. It won't effect your Pension. If your TAP was taken out before 01/01/2015  then seek advice from the Free Centrelink Financial Adviser as changing provider  may effect your Pension. You have to make an appoinment.

GDay Ben.

Suggest contacting one of the reputable Industry Super funds as they may help and be able to change your TAP over to them. Is Asgard an Industry Super Fund ?  I dont think so.

Industry Super Funds have traditionally had the best performance. Check this out also

I would recommend asking Centrelinks own Financial Information Service what you can do and how to do it. I've seen them twice and can recommend.
