Australia dumps 500,000 tonnes of landfill in discarded textiles and leather annually.

We are the world's second largest consumers of textiles, buying an average of 27 kilograms of new clothing and other textiles each year.

RiverBlue – the cost of fast fashion to India and China where the colour of rivers indicate the latest colour trend.

Clothing made from polyester, which is essentially a plastic, takes up to 200 years to breakdown in landfill.

I just do not like him;  beard or no beard.  My first hubby had a lovely trimmed beard...I have nothing against them at all.

All my sons have beards, but funnily enough  I don't like my husband with one...

Too much irritation and skin rash on contact...lol

i dont like beards,    a few years ago,  when we lived in geelong,   hubby had a bet with someone at work,    to grow a beard,    and whoever had the best beard after 6 months won the bet,  needless to say RUSS won,    and he like the beard so much he kept it for about  a year,      it was awful,    needless to say ,  not much action happened for a year,  lol,

Almost too much !nformation Cats...but I can associate with that completely.LOL

I don't like the bald men with beards look either,  sort of an upside down look ,I don't find it at all appealing...but then again, it's a personal preference.

What I loathe is that stubble which is all the rage...yuk!  Joe Hildebrand on that morning show Studio 10 always looks scruffy....even the girls on the show (from time to time) get him a makeover but it does not last...he lapses back into this look...at least his hair is a bit tidier at the moment though I must admit.

he has a horrible head altogether,     i dont particularly like the stubble,   but it can look ok on some young blokes,    as long as they clean it up when they go out in public,   to a restarant or such,  cranky,   i dont like bald heads and beards either,   [you know what they say about bald men ,    dont you,  ?

I can not stand Joe Hildebrand, he always has to be the centre of attention and thinks he is funny -- he is just darn annoying and has the most annoying voice AND way over the top with his hands too,  I would much rather have that Davo bloke -- he also has more manners AND more knowledge too
