A little visitor

Today I am angry..so I am airing my thoughts. An adorable little furseal pup has recently been discovered on our local Beach, frollicking in the water, but rather than leave him alone, people have to try and touch him, and let their kids and dogs near him when he is lying on the sand.

If that's not enough those wretched Jetski's are zooming up the passage oblivious to anything else but their noisy selfish activity,

Seaworld has okayed him ,as he seems to be in good health, but how long will it be before he gets chopped up or stressed out by unthoughtful humans ?

Thankyou for reading, I feel a little better now.

This is Neil the seal...

Cranky,  I hope he/she will remain safe -- and these people leave him alone -- and he is able to find his family after his rest

Neil seems relaxed on the sand, perhaps he has come from something more terrifying.  But a young animal is not wize to the cruel creatures we humans are.   Pity the jetski was every invented.  They make fumes, noise and are dangerous to anyone near them.  Of course a few riders have been killed by them too.     Crashing into the coast and rocks.

I guess this little creature will move on at his own accord when he has had enough of humans.

I hope he is kept safe though Cranky.

I really hope he stay's safe also as such a little thing is prone to cruelty from some sub humans that only want to taunt or maim the little thing ! Dotty

He looks a little tired and trying to catch up with a few zzzzzz!  Lets hope the humans keep well away from him and let him do his own thing.

Idiots IMO Cranky. Experienced similar a few years ago when we lived beachfront ... luckily the little seal moved on to better things. Hope yours does too.

cranky,   THE jet skis are only allowed in certain places on the water,     they are NOT allowed a certain distance fron the shore,    and if wildlife, such as dolphins, seals, whales,   are in the vicinity,  they ARE NOT ALLOWED,    ring your council, or whoever is in charge of the water,    the water police>      but ring someone,    they are breaking the law,   and can be fined very heavily,    poor little man,     he is probably scared stiff with the noise,    hope he is ok,

Cats ,

Seaworld is keeping an out out for this little furseal. so hopefully they will have to right to blow up the Jetski's...before any damage is done.

Latest on Neil the seal....

He has two little friends with him today...So exciting. I dont know how long they will stay but we are so lucky to have witnessed such an event..

Maybe the climate is changing water temperature  ,who knows? ..

Wow ... hope their visit stays safe.

Hope they are faring well too..

I feel sad to hear that the few seals in Cornwall are being battered by the storms..here's hoping they survive..

If they are not getting battered by the storms Sophie, they will be frying on the rocks,

The wise ones tell me there is a possibility of 40 plus degrees coming up...:(

Cranky ... a few years ago we had a little seal out the front of our old place on the beach at Tugun on the Gold Coast. I raced down and filmed him. Just so lovely.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hwk3o2jG9HE&feature=youtu.be

Attracted quite a few onlookers but he moved on quite quickly.

Yikes .... wayyyy back in 2003. Can't believe it's so long ago, remember it vividly.

Well done RnR ????

Thanks for sharing ????

That's lovely RnR..

Look at his little flapping flippers.. :D

GOOD LUCK NIEL THE SEAL

GLAD the sea world are watching out for him CRANKY,   these jet skis are a damn nuiscence, they think they own the water,    had a couple of bad accidents in the bay with them,   glad he has a mate now,    they are beautiful little creatures,

There are three of them Cats...A love triangle maybe???...

Tv series coming up..."The batchelor seal"... lol

ha ha,   could be cranky,        i wonder why they come ashore like they do?     i live near the beach,   and they often get one on the footpath,    come up from the beach,  and mix with the public,   so they are obviosly not shy creatures,

Not shy cats, but I believe they can be quite tempermental and can give a nasty bite..

but then so can I if I am rattled..lol..
