Vehicle crashes into crowd in French city of Nice in possible attack
A truck has crashed into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in the city of Nice, France. People had been at the promenade watching a fireworks display when the incident happened.
Reports are suggesting that as many as 73 people may have died from the incident with hundreds more injured. The driver was shot dead at the scene by police.
The ABC are reporting that Australian terrorism expert Greg Barton from Deakin University said the scale and "clear deliberate intent" indicated the attack was most likely the work of Islamic State terrorists.
