usa's military aggression and desire to rule the world is forcing countries to protect themselves.

Us general Neller said recently , there's a war coming. I agree with him , Russia is rattling the sabre ,China is building islands ,Korea is ranting and US power is in decline. We watched the Cold War and waited but the war never came ,almost but not quite. Many thought the problem had gone away, it hadn't. More countries every day have nuclear weapons all aimed at one country or another. One day troops may come to your door but they are unlikely to be Russian but Chinese. I wonder how long before the war starts, most likely when the US attacks Korea, why haven't they done it already, Korea has made genuine threats ,concerned about Chinese support , I don't know?

My family were in Europe during the Second World War , you don't think it's coming but the next moment troops are marching down your street and standing people up against walls. It's fine tell me I'm just a panic merchant, it just can't happen right!

usa military and NASA (same organisation) have surrounded russia with bases and missiles.  they continually provoke russia, and their mainstream media falsly blame russia for just about everything with no evidence.

usa is the world's leading "rogue" nation.

NATO is directed by washington, and largely funded by them as well.  NATO is known as "north atlantic terrorist organisation".   its role is to provoke russia.

"Russian agent convicted of spying for Britain was fighting for his life last night amid suspicions he was poisoned in a shopping centre in Wiltshire.

Sergei Skripal, 66, was in intensive care after being exposed to a mysterious substance as he sat on a bench in the centre of Salisbury. A 33-year-old woman who was with him, is also in critical condition. Both had collapsed and were unconscious when they were discovered.

Reports suggest Col Skripal had recently gone to police claiming he was fearing for his life."

If there is uunification, Korea could be an economic powerhouse 

There is no credible intelligence that Russian President Vladimir Putin has any plans to invade the Baltic States or the Ukraine. Last year, General Petr Pavel, chairman of the NATO Military Committee, divulged that the deployment of NATO military battalions in the Baltic States was a political, rather than military, act.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and the break up of the Soviet Unit, Gorbachev was promised by the US that NATO forces would not move to occupy Russia's Western borders. Despite this promise however, NATO forces have established military bases in the Baltic States and Eastern Europe on Russia's border. 

In fact, the US has just recently negotiated the sale of 210 Javelin anti-tank missiles to the Ukraine and will train its military to use the missiles and 37 command launch units. 

The Ukraine previously represented a defence buffer zone for Russia.  Understandably, Russia is concerned about the loss of this critical military buffer zone. Putin is acutely aware, that Russia has been attacked from the West by Napoleon and Hitler. The US has the Pacific and Altlantic Oceans as its defence buffer zone and the UK has the English Channel. Can you imagine how the US would react if the Russian's had military installations on the Canadian/US border. 

In the circumstances, why wouldn't Putin be concerned about Russia's defence capability.

Raphael don't let your emotions get in the way of facts.  The US has military installations in over 80 foreign countries - the Russians have their military in 3 foreign countries.  The US has invaded numerous countries far in excess of any one else and continues to do so.
