When will the human race grow up?

After the recent shark and crocodile attacks in WA and Qld, locals have gone out and killed a shark and a crocodile, presumably to teach those animals a lesson.

It won't help.

It'll happen again.

Unless, of course, we kill them all......

Thats Humans for you they have the opinion ,  if it moves shoot it if it doesn't chop it down never happy till they have the place in ruin.

Some members of the human race never "grow up" that's why our prisons are full.

I think Einstein summed it up for me.

As does this photo of a very small boat ... used by the two elderly blokes from Victoria who went crabbing in crocodile infested waters near Darwin. Boat tipped over, one dead.

A 72-year-old man fought off crocodiles by throwing spanners and spark plugs at them as he battled to save his drowning friend. See story 18th May 2016 here.

Just what can you say.

sharks an crocs gotta eat too.  food can be hard to come by so ifa person comes along, specially a juicy one then whats a hungry croc to do.

These cases are always very sad, but in the Queensland case, why go into the water at 10pm?

Why go into the water at any time if it is full of crocs? So hard to believe people would knowingly swim in crocodile territory.

Surprising how close a croc can get if you are not paying attention.

I was fishing off a creek bank in TPNG near Port Moresby with a mate and it was only when the croc was very close to us did we see it and realised we were on the menu.

Bolted up the bank and into the car shrieking like school girls. Left our beer behind as I recall.

I thought I was infallible back then and have to admit I was a slow learner.

Take it easy.

Yes there are signs all over the place to warn these fools --

I agree PlanB..I am constantly feeling compassion for the animals that live in the environment where humans are trespassers..

Why should these creatures be hunted and killed just because stupid people continue to invade their space?

Its their home, and I can't see why these creatures are murdered simply for eating what is available in their local supermarket .

It's time for change, and a great deal of educating, to learn and abide by the rules of man.
