Where IS the promised cheaper power Angus?

How much longer will the Minister for Energy in the inept Morrison govt, Angus Taylor, continue to LIE and get away with saying that power prices are coming down? I have just heard him on the radio AGAIN sprouting untruths.

Now before the LNP diehards jump all over me accusing/labelling me of something I am not could someone please tell this boofhead in fact energy prices are continuing to rise? The election was supposedly fought in part on energy costs and Angus has been warming a chair for 12 months now and has apparently achieved ZERO

Or is this yet another broken promise from this disappointing under-achieving government?

Some things never change. The cost of energy is just one of the latest in a sad history from many governments of both persuasions IMO.

We never had such high energy proces when Labor was in office.  The LNP government repeatedly ran on "lower energy prices" but always delivered higher ones because they are blatant liars abd voters believed them.  Who does one pity the most?

Who does one pity the most?

The Little Red Riding Hoods I think.

The innocents in the woods ... the ones who get duped by the wolves in "Grandma's/Grandpa's House" in Canberra, of whatever persuasion.

LIES are the modus operandi of the hopeless Lieberal-Nazional Party COALition. Why the idiotic electorate was so dumb as to re-elect these cretins is beyond me.

The answer is 2 words:  Murdoch and Stokes (media).  People are easily led.  They were and will be again.

We have a Labor government here in W A and our electrcity costs have gone up 3 times in the 3 years they have been in power, so both sides are leaching us.

Ha ha, you are all okay you don't live in Central Qld where the Qld Labour Government own Ergon Energy and we pay premium prices and they won't allow any competition!! Oh what a surprise - thieving ..........  We have no choice and the highest electricity prices.  We would love competition.  At least the rest of Australia have a choice.

You are right Merlot

If you can shop around you can get a good price ...at least in NSW .... do not know about the other states, but it does mean you have to get off your posterior.
