Keep safe all.

Amazing with all our technology an entire state could be blacked out.Just heard power restored in some parts of SA.

Just amazes me that the strength of the wind was so extreme that 22 of those tall transmission towers were just bent over like matchsticks, absolutely no one could have foretold that could happen.

i wonder how many farm and Native animals out in the open with no protection were lost to the wind too.

Wonder if the transmission towers were built from cheap Chinese material ???

Even my 10 year old grandson wouldn't make such an unfounded statement without first finding out the facts.

I do not give an uck as to what you or your grandson thinks or says

Some power has been restored.  We were without power for 8 hours but there has now been more blackouts adding to the 90,000 homes that are already out.

Twin tornados went through one town.

Conditions are worsening, with more destructive winds to arrive this afternoon.  It's been raining all day with much more predicted for tonight, which will cause more flooding.

Glad to see you are back on line Sandi ..hope you been able to contact Maggie.

You guys down south, look after yourselves. Stay safe.
