While the internet provides a plethora of options available to browsers of all ages, which topics do you think interest the boomer market the most? Retirement saving tips? Holiday planning? How best to spend the kids’ inheritance? YourLifeChoices, Australia’s largest independent retirement website, covers all these topics and more to serve the needs of our rapidly increasing audience of retirees and pre-retirees. So we thought we’d ask our members what appeals most.
Our annual lifestyle survey of over 4,700 YourLifeChoices' members reveals that their browsing habits are varied and diverse with a very equal spread of interest across all YourLifeChoices’ content offerings.
Unsurprisingly, the top content category is ‘Retirement’ which contains practical advice on topics such as planning and funding retirement income and the emotional transition into life after work. It generates over 22,000 Page Impressions a month making it one of the top twenty most visited sections of the site. A close second after ‘Retirement’ was the ‘Health’ section. Health is an important consideration for this audience who are keen to follow health professionals advice to take better care of themselves. YourLifeChoices aims to debunk the health myths that are constantly in the mainstream media, provide practical targeted health and wellbeing tips for older Australians and health news that appeals on topics including diabetes, hearing and eye health. It generates over 92,000 Page Impressions a month making it one of the top five most visited sections of the site.
