Australia’s best hotel

The Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards involve more than 600,000 of its readers providing a snapshot of where and how they travel.

The awards are the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry, commonly referred to as “the best of the best of travel.”

Little wonder, then, that The Langham, Melbourne is so proud to be named Australia’s best hotel.

“During the voting period, The Langham, Melbourne hosted thousands of international guests, many of whom return to the hotel each year, especially during the city’s major events, the Australian Open and Australian Grand Prix. We have over 400 colleagues employed to run and manage our 388 room hotel. I am very proud of our team in Melbourne who consistently delivers exceptional service which we are known for.”

The Langham, Melbourne prides itself on creating memorable experiences for its guests.

This year, The Langham, Melbourne launched a number of new initiatives such as Season’s Harvest at Melba Restaurant, where up to 70 per cent of all produce and wine is locally sourced. It also unveiled The Residence by Kerrie Hess and a rejuvenated Aria Bar & Lounge, and introduced a glamping package for children, which features an adorable teepee for the younger guests.
