Top five reasons to cruise

Ever thought of taking a cruise holiday? If so, you’re not alone. In the past decade cruising has become one of the most popular ways to travel, as well as a way to enjoy different experiences and explore a new part of the world. If you’re considering a cruise for your next holiday, here’s our top five reasons why you should hit the high seas.

1. You only unpack once

Today’s cruise ships are unique floating resorts which take you from place to place with ease; and you only have to unpack once! All you have to do every day is get out of bed to enjoy a relaxing day at sea, try something new, or go ashore to explore a new destination or country.

2. It’s great value for money

Cruise ships range from simple to six-star, and most cruise fares include everything you need for a memorable holiday including accommodation, food, daily activities, and even entertainment. Some cruise packages can also include flights and pre-cruise stays, and ships at the luxury end can be ‘all-inclusive’, including butler service and your favourite daily tipple.

3. The destinations are appealing

Cruising takes you to many places in a single trip. If you can’t choose between the sights of Turkey and beaches of Greece, for example, many Eastern Mediterranean cruises feature both. You also don’t have to learn the language, buy local currency, or even organise sightseeing. If you take a ship’s shore excursions, all you have to do is get on the bus, and let the experts take care of the rest.

4.Cruise ships are floating resorts for all

Cruise ships come in many shapes and sizes, from intimate 16-guest expedition vessels to behemoths carrying over 5000 enthusiastic holiday-makers. All travellers, from singles to couples and kids to grandparents, are well catered for. Large cruise ships in particular offer a wide variety of accommodation to suit all budgets, some with exclusive cabins for people travelling alone.

5. Do as much or as little as you choose

Cruising is a very social way to travel; if you enjoy making new friends and meeting people from around the world, a cruise is a great way to go. Cruising can also be active, allowing you to try new things, or romantic, offering couples a chance to get away from it all, or enjoy an anniversary with a difference.

All well said: Cruising is the best and most enjoyable travel experience and, in many cases we do not need to take any planes at all: leave from our city and back to it: total delight.
A great choice for families and, also solo travellers. Simply unbeatable and highly addicted!
