Transatlantic Grand Voyages – Journeys of Discovery
Author: YourLifeChoices

MSC Cruises offers guests even greater value and options this season with its Transatlantic Grand Voyages and a choice of over 30 destinations.

The Grand Voyages extend at a relaxing pace from one continent to the other, giving guests the opportunity to encounter different cultures and peoples.  Featuring lectures such as Don't Cry for Me Buenos Aires and Long John Silver: the notorious piracy of the Caribbean from university experts, they explore and bring to life the history, culture and geography of the various destinations and are tailored to the itineraries in English, German or Portuguese.

Special themed events inspired by the destinations and cultures are featured throughout the various journeys.  Guests visiting Casablanca will enjoy a North African menu and a screening of the 1942 classic starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. Brazilian cocktails and the opportunity to dance the Samba are on offer when visiting Rio de Janeiro, whereas an Italian themed day may feature a Nutella party.  And on a British themed night guests would enjoy sampling some of the island’s fine whiskeys.

Unique to MSC Grand Voyages are five classical concerts with performances including Italian opera classics and works from Mozart, Puccini and more.  There are many additional extras for guests to experience and enjoy on an MSC Grand Voyage.
