Yu Garden
Located in the centre of the Old City, Yu Garden is considered one of the most lavish and finest Chinese gardens in China and was established in 1559 as a private Garden. The Garden occupies an area of 5 acres.

Shanghai Museum
Founded in 1952, the Shanghai Museum is a museum of ancient Chinese art. The Museum has over 120,000 pieces in eleven galleries and three special exhibition halls and houses several items of national importance.

Jade Buddha Temple
A Buddhist temple drawing from the Pure Land and Chan traditions of Mahayana Buddhism. Founded in 1882, the Jade Buddha Temple contains many large golden statues.
