Sydney’s new ‘BridgeClimb Sampler’

As of last week, BridgeClimb has launched a new climbing option. Called the 'BridgeClimb Sampler', it is a shorter and more economical 'taste' of the iconic BridgeClimb, which will broaden access to the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Ideal for anyone with a fear of heights or for those short on time, the one and a half hour introduction to the renowned BridgeClimb experience takes climbers half-way to the top of the Bridge.

Considered a ‘must do’ tourist attraction, BridgeClimb has just celebrated its 16th birthday. More than 3.2 million people, from more than 137 countries, have climbed the Bridge since it opened in 1998.

BridgeClimb Founder and Chairman, Paul Cave, said, "BridgeClimb has turned the Sydney Harbour Bridge from a postcard into a global bucket list experience. It is a wonderful privilege for BridgeClimb to be able to share this Australian icon with our climbers.”

The BridgeClimb Sampler experience begins with climbers suiting-up before being latched onto the BridgeClimb safety line. They are then guided along catwalks and walkways, before ascending the inner arch to a spectacular vantage point half-way to the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Once climbers are half way to the top, they cross to the western side of the Bridge, and, taking a photo en route, they then descend back to the Climb Base.
