January 7-11 Parkes Elvis Festival, NSW

It’s been almost 40 years since he left the building, but why not join the expected 18,000+ other Elvis fans in the Central NSW town of Parkes, to celebrate his birthday. 

February 21-22 Wooden Boat Festival, SA

Featuring food and wine, arts and crafts, music and history – there’s something for everyone.

May from 22 Vivid Sydney, NSW

A unique annual event of light, music and ideas, with an amazing outdoor ‘gallery’ of lighting sculptures on Sydney’s beautiful harbour. 

June 27-28 Birdsville Gymkhana, Qld

A weekend of action-packed skills and thrills. 

July 5 Darwin Lions Beer Can Regatta, NT

A regatta like no other, with boats primarily built entirely from aluminium beer cans.

August 15 Henley-on-Todd Regatta, NT

An annual sailing and rowing regatta held on a dry river bed in Alice Springs.

September/October – Floriade Canberra, ACT

Australia’s biggest celebration of spring, running for 30 days over the months of September and October. 

November 1-8 Melbourne Cup Carnival, Vic

Featuring the race that stops the nation, pop on a fascinator and attend one of the fabulous race day events. 

December 31 New Years Eve on Sydney Harbour

Say a fitting farewell to 2015 and join the many thousands of others seeing in the New Year on Sydney’s fabulous harbour.
