Maui motorhomes has collaborated with some of regional Victoria’s wineries.
If you like wine, and motorhomes, this experience is pretty much designed with you in mind. In a brilliant move, Maui motorhomes has collaborated with some of regional Victoria’s most-loved wineries.
Called Maui Winery Havens, this unusual experience allows travellers to fully enjoy the winery experience by including an overnight stay in their motorhome. With parking provided in a specific Maui Winery Havens location, customers will be treated to a night amongst the vines, waking up to stunning vineyard views.
Already road-tested in New Zealand, the successful initiave is now making its way across The Ditch. By offering overnight self-drive experiences that wouldn’t otherwise be possible, the initiative makes holidays more accessible in the King Valley, Rutherglen and Alpine Valley areas.
Priced from $140 per night, on arrival, guests receive a gourmet hamper for two featuring a bottle of the vineyard’s wine. There’s also the chance to meet and talk with the local winemakers and learn about their craft.
The experience is available for travel from December 2014, at the following five vineyards located in North East Victoria;
- Brown Brothers, Milawa
- Dal Zotto, Whitfield
- Feathertop, Porepunkah
- St Leonards, Wahgunyah
- Cofield, Rutherglen
All within driving distance of each other, Maui travellers have the choice of visiting one property or all five in what has to be the ultimate winery adventure.
