The Mantra Group has just made a major development with its new app.
Hotels are working hard to stay up-to-date in our ever-evolving ‘smart’ world. But so far we’ve been slightly underwhelmed with initiatives such as virtual reality headsets for in-room entertainment.
However, the Mantra Group has stepped up to the plate with its latest app. In an Australian first, the Peppers brand has launched an app that allows guests to access hotel services at their fingertips. From checking in on the go before you arrive, to ordering room service and booking local tours, there is little you can’t do from your device.
Making cumbersome hotel guides a thing of the past, the app includes a hotel directory, local recommendations, restaurant menus, and special offer alerts for in-house restaurants and leisure facilities, such as day spas.
The Mantra Group designed the app based on guest feedback and conducted extensive testing before launching the service. Mantra Group Chief Operating Officer Tomas Johnssson said: “All guests will benefit from this new app technology, which was specifically built to address the growing migration to mobile devices, and gives Mantra Group an outstanding platform to offer a more convenient service and seamless guest journey.”
Available for both iOS and Android, the app is offered for 21 Peppers properties in Australia and BreakFree on Cashel in Christchurch.
