Kaye recently caught up with Dave Hopley, co-owner of Rocket Bakery & Fresh Food, to talk about life in colourful St. John’s, Newfoundland, and the history of its coolest café.
Since marrying a Newfoundlander and settling in quaint St. John’s 18 years ago, Dave has become ‘one of the locals’. For the past six-and-a-half years he has been co-running Rocket Bakery and enjoying the St. John’s arts and culture scene as well as it’s proximity to the pristine Canadian wilderness.
