11 international galleries you can explore online

I admit it, I’ve spent most of lockdown watching reruns of The Office and avoiding eye contact the Duolingo app I optimistically downloaded on my phone. But while lying prone and watching Netflix may be enjoyable – for a day or two– I’ve begun to wonder, is there something more interesting and intellectually stimulating I could be doing right now?

The answer, ladies and gentlemen, is yes.

After scooping my brain back into the ear it was beginning to drizzle out of, I discovered that a number of the world’s top museums have gone digital, meaning you can explore their displays from your couch. It makes isolation a little easier to know that you have art, history and science at your fingertips.
