Christmas comes early for travellers with a Qantas sale
Author: Ben Hocking
The 12 holidays of Christmas

Qantas is kicking off the start of the holiday season with a Christmas sale and the release of more reward seats during the busy festive season and early 2019.

The ‘12 Holidays of Christmas Sale’ gives customers the opportunity to access new sale fares every day for almost two weeks to destinations across Qantas’ international and domestic networks.

Qantas Frequent Flyer has also released several thousand additional reward seats, which can be redeemed using Qantas Points, for December and January, making last-minute travel more accessible in the peak holiday season.

Each destination will only be on sale for a limited time, so customers will need to get in quick. Fares vary and select travel dates across next year apply.

Visit the 12 Holidays of Christmas Sale page on Qantas.com to discover the new destinations going on sale each day until Wednesday 12 December.

Don't think so! Booked a trip 4 months ago - looking at the fares now, is just on double! Again, specials are for obscure odd traveling times. And LONG routes for a change over of flights. My trip will take just on 8 hours - the 'cheapest' flight on my dates - is still dearer than I paid, and will take 24 hours! No thanks.

Qantas must be having a lend of the public with this special holiday promotion. Qantas is now code share with Air NZ so watch the price increases. You may be lucky if you want to fly with a leg with Jetstar.
Just returned for NZ with a fare of $800 economy booked in April 2018. Check the promotion fares and see what they offer. My Daughter and her daughter will be coming to Perth from Auckland for Christmas and New Year. Cheapest flight booked Sept was approx $1100 each. Qantas was approx $1350 each. She will be flying with Virgin AKL to Per with change over in Melb. Air NZ was close to $1500 each return.

What a blatant Qantas ad from YLC! Is YLC paid by Qantas to promote this low-quality airline which rips off customers as much as possible due to lack of domestic competition? And increase A.Joyce's undeserved, over-the-top, massive remuneration package after he sacked thousands of Aussie workers in favour of low-quality outsourcing?
