Two selfie drones that fit into your pocket

If you’re opposed to selfies and don’t like asking strangers to take photos for you, why not have a drone take your photo instead? Here are two selfie drones that fit into your pocket.

Budget: JJRC H37 Elfie

This lightweight little drone is the most affordable of its kind and has an excellent price to value ratio. Although it’s not in the same league as serious selfie drone (or quadcopters), the Elfie is easy to fly and has between eight and 10 minutes of flight time, 100m control range and an adjustable wifi camera that allows you to capture photos and video at a decent resolution. And you don’t need a memory card, as the images are streamed and stored on your smartphone or device.

So, it’s a fairly handy drone, more of a toy, but at RRP A$65, it will take some nice images of you and yours at a fraction of the cost of most drones on the market.

Splurge: Zerotech DOBBY pocket drone

Smaller than a smartphone and fitted with a 13 megapixel, 1080HD camera, the DOBBY is a drone-lovers dream. Super light and easy to control, this technological marvel may be expensive, but you’re certainly getting what you pay for.

DOBBY features face recognition technology that can track you or any other object, advanced GPS positioning, auto take-off and landing, easy-to-learn online tutorials, one-click sharing to social media and the ability to capture super high-quality video and still images.

DOBBY is the world’s most advanced selfie drone, but it will set you back around $600.
