I’m not sure if which was more embarrassing: when I woke myself up from falling forwards and smacking myself in the face on the seat in front of me on a plane or when I was woken up by the man in the seat next to me because I’d fallen asleep on his shoulder and had begun to drool.
Either way, as uncomfortable as these experiences were to my pride, they cause far more discomfort to my neck and back after clocking-off in such awkward and unsupportive positions. While few of us look at a plane seat and think ‘fantastic, what a wonderful place to get a good night’s sleep’, it doesn’t mean we can’t get all the support and comfort we need … without the help of a stranger’s shoulder.
Introducing the Trtl Pillow. This unique pillow is scientifically proven to support your head and neck while sleeping in an upright position, so it’s perfect for long flights. While every travel pillow claims to be different, we’ve never seen one quite like this before. First, it’s designed to look like a scarf, and while its soft fleece covering may keep you cosy, it contains an internal supportive structure to hold your head and neck in place. The pillow is machine washable, can be easily attached to the outside of your luggage, and weighs only 148g, so you won’t have to worry about it taking up too much space or weight in your carry-on bag.
