Joan Rivers – the queen of comedy

Today, we remember comedy queen Joan Rivers, who was born on this day in 1933. Apart from being a consummate comedienne, Joan was an actress, writer, producer, and TV host who pulled no punches and was well known for her controversial comedic persona. We’ve found a New York Times tribute video that captures the best of Joan Rivers.

Joan Rivers was one of the vilest, crassest showbiz people I have ever had the misfortune of listening to.
Whilst entertainment is in the eye of the beholder it might be better if YourLifeChoices lets this one go. There are some celebrities who are best forgotten.

I just watched Joan Rivers’ debut episode and didn’t laugh once. I couldn’t see anything funny in what she was talking about. No wonder they didn’t want her show in Boston, and she was making a complete fool of the people of Boston. She is as fake as her makeup. Couldn’t agree with you more Mick.

I think she was an old bag that didn’t know when to fade away into the sunset. I wouldn’t watch her at all.
