Mark Twain

Did you know that Mark Twain, author of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and its sequel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, was born shortly after Halley’s Comet travelled past Earth in 1835? He predicted that he would “go out with it”, too, and he died on this day in 1910, the day after the comet returned. Listen to the audiobook of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn for free here.
