No cheap cherries this Christmas

No Christmas table is complete without a big bowl of cherries in the middle, but this year you could be paying through the nose for this Aussie tradition.

Heavy rains have damaged cherry crops and disrupted the flow of plentiful berries to shops across Australia. And those stores managing to get their hands on cherries good enough to sell are charging around $20 per kilo, almost double what they have been in previous years.
