Princess Cruises has announced the details of its 2025 European season. The sailings available include a range of voyages across the Mediterranean and Baltic regions, lasting from seven to 31 nights. Six of the cruise line’s largest ships will be used for these trips.
The 2025 season marks the line’s 40th anniversary cruising in the Mediterranean, having first set sail in the region in 1985.
The Star Princess embarks on its maiden voyage on 4 August 2025, launching from Rome on a nine-day Grand Mediterranean journey stopping in Italy and Greece. The ship, which can accommodate 4300 passengers, will then stay in the Mediterranean for a series of 10-day return voyages, taking passengers to stunning ports of call including Florence, Barcelona and Mykonos.
The Sun Princess, which will be a year old by then, will also be cruising around the Mediterranean, embarking on journeys including week-long round trips from Barcelona, Rome, and Athens. It will also be stopping over in Istanbul, Naples and Santorini along the way.
Elsewhere, nearby ports will be graced with the presence of Emerald Princess, Majestic Princess and Sky Princess, on cruises lasting from seven to 31 days of exploration. These ships will be departing from Rome, Southampton, Athens, Venice and Barcelona.
Sky Princess‘ flagship itinerary is a not to be missed 31-day Mediterranean Marvel cruise. This trip will include late-night departures from Mykonos, Santorini and the Israeli port of Ashdod.
On the flip side of the Mediterranean Sea, those wanting to explore the British Isles will be thrilled to find out that Emerald Princess and Regal Princess will offer 10 to 14-day cruises ranging from Southampton to the British Isles, where they will be able to take in the dramatic Scottish Highlands, spend an evening in Liverpool, and even a late-night stay in Belfast.
Finally, Emerald Princess and Sky Princess will also be making a range of five to 28-day Northern European cruises, stopping off in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and more – with late-night calls in both Copenhagen and Warnemünde, the closest port to Berlin.
