Free heritage walk and talks

Looking for something free and fun to do in Perth? Look no further.

Following the great success of the inaugural Walk & Talk Series last year, Heritage Perth is very pleased to announce the continuation of the program in 2015.

With an incredibly rich history, which goes back more than 40,000 years, there’s certainly plenty to find out about this beautiful riverside city.

To help you discover this fascinating and long history, the free lunchtime guided walks and talks will be held in different locations around the city. Focusing on different elements of heritage – cultural, architectural, economic, spiritual and environmental – the walks are a great opportunity for people who want to discover more about Perth, its past, its future and the link between the two.

Lasting no longer than an hour, these walks make it possible to pop out in a lunch break for a ‘Heritage’ hit! All events are free, but bookings are required.

The first talk, ‘Connecting People, the Law, and the Parliament’ will be held in Parliament House, Parliamentary Library. To give people the opportunity to learn more about the history, roles and functions of Western Australia’s judiciary, local government and Parliament, a tour of Parliament House is included.
