Optimism could save your life

Are you a glass half full or half empty kind of person? Let’s hope you’re the former as several studies have linked optimism with living longer and being able to ward off cancer, stroke and heart disease.

Optimism was found to be links with the following lower levels of risk

 

According to the author of study by Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health in Boston, Dr Eric Kim, those who are most optimistic are 30 per cent less likely to die from these conditions than those who expect the worst in life.
