A number of Windows security vulnerabilities were revealed online last.
Last week, a number of Windows security vulnerabilities were revealed online by a group called the Shadow Brokers.
Microsoft confirmed that all of these vulnerabilities had been fixed on or prior to March 14 in security updates. Users who allow auto-updates or regularly check for updates should now be shielded from the security flaws.
Security updates that fixed these vulnerabilities are only available for users running Windows 7 and beyond, so if you are using Windows XP or any previous version of Windows, you are at risk.
"We've investigated and confirmed that the exploits disclosed by the Shadow Brokers have already been addressed by previous updates to our supported products," said a Microsoft spokesperson.
Are you concerned about how frequently hackers are finding exploits in computer security? Do you still feel safe transacting online?
