Ewan McGregor’s Last Days

Ewan McGregor turns 44 today – although you’d never know it by looking at him. Many ladies, and gents, the world over, view Ewan as a god of the silver screen. But did you know he actually plays Jesus – and Satan – in his new film Last Days in the Desert?

McGregor has enjoyed an incredibly successful 20-year career on screen, and recently announced that he will moving behind the camera for his directorial debut, American Pastoral, based on the Philip Roth novel of the same name. He is currently starring in a documentary about the Volkswagen Beetle called The Bug – The Life and Times of the People’s Car. No rest for the wicked, eh?

Last Days in the Desert was shown to critical acclaim at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, and awaits an Australian release date. In the meantime, why not watch an interview with the film’s star and its director?
