Number jokes you can count on

I have a confession to make. I am terrible with numbers. Whether it’s trying to work out percentages or fractions, or even just simple addition and subtraction, my brain is slow to process the numerical information.

At school, I was more likely to be making up rude number-related jokes in maths class than attempting to solve any equations.

You might not think numbers are particularly funny, but you’d be wrong. Here are some funny jokes about numbers you can count on.

Q: What do you call numbers that won’t stay still?

A: Roamin’ numerals.

•••

Q: If you had four apples and five oranges in one hand, and six apples and seven oranges in the other, what would you have?

A: Very large hands.

•••

Q: What’s the best way to round up 37 sheep?

A: To 40.

•••

Q: Why should you never talk to Pi?

A: Because it goes on and on forever.

•••

Q: What did zero say to eight?

A: “Nice belt!”

•••

Q: How do you make seven even?

A: Just take away the ‘s’.

•••

Q: Why is it bad to mention the number 288?

A: Because it’s two gross.
