Time: 25 minutes
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed according to package directions
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Preheat the oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Unroll the puff pastry onto a bench and roll making a large rectangle, but not too thick. Evenly sprinkle the garlic powder over the pastry and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Next, evenly sprinkle over the cheese and press it into the pastry. Fold the pastry in half, covering the filling. Then use a sharp knife to cut the pastry into 16 strips. Use both hands to twist the pastry strips into long twists.
Move the twists to the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, until the twists are puffed and golden brown.
