Bailey’s Irish Cream Fruit Dip

For a tasty dessert that’s so simple to prepare it almost makes itself, why not try our Bailey’s Irish Cream Fruit Dip. So good, it makes fondue look like fon-don’t.

Serves: 12
Time: 1 hour


  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup Irish cream liqueur

Place egg whites in a bowl and using an electric mixer, whisk until stiff. In a separate small bowl, whip cream. In a third, larger bowl, mix egg yolks and sugar together. Gently fold in the whipped cream and egg whites into the egg yolk mixture. Add in the Bailey’s Irish Cream. Cover and refrigerate.

Tis Irish Cream Dip can be served with fresh fruit salad or dolloped onto your choice of dessert.

    I make my own Baileys, much cheaper and more of it than bought stuff, too good to use as a dip, very nice to sip on

    Here is a very easy recipe for home made Baileys Irish cream
    1 cup of heavy cream, can of sweetened condensed milk,1 +2/3 cups whiskey or vodka, 1 tsp instant coffee granules, 2 tbsp chocolate syrup such as nesquick,1 tsp vanilla essence, 1 tsp almond essence.Blend all ingredients together for appx 30 seconds. Store in airtight jar or bottle in fridge till required. Shake well before use.
