A recall has been issued by manufacturer General Mills Australia Pty Ltd for its popular Old El Paso Hard ‘n Soft Taco kits, which have been on sale at Coles and Woolworths stores in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, NT and the ACT; Cole stores only in TAS; and independent retailers including IGA in TAS and QLD.
The recall is due to some taco kits containing an incorrect sachet, which contains an undeclared allergen (milk). Any consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.
Consumers who have a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume the 350g sachet labelled ‘Ckn Ndle’. Consumers may return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumer concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
