One of Australia’s most iconic native wildlife emblems, the cockatoo, has gone viral after. Melbourne woman visiting Hamilton Island shared video footage of damage caused by some local boisterous birds there created havoc in a hotel room.
The video showed the disastrous aftermath of a room the woman was sharing with a friend at the Reef View Hotel on the popular Whitsundays (Queensland) island.
The mistake the travellers made was leaving the balcony door from their room open – something the hotel apparently repeatedly warned visitors about.
The result? A BIG mess.
As well as stealing food left in the room, the cheeky cockies used the beds as their toilet. The woman’s bikini bottoms were also reported missing (although later sighted on the hotel car park roof!).
