Woolworths is dropping prices on more than 450 winter essentials in-store and online, including chicken, corned beef, soup, pasta and oats
The discounts are part of the supermarket’s latest seasonal Prices Dropped campaign and will run from 24 May until 22 August.
Woolworths said the price drops are worth more than $700 across a full basket of products and will save the average shopper 19 per cent on their grocery bill.

      Some of the highlights include:
      1. Woolworths Cook Australian RSPCA Approved Chicken Roasting Portions Italian Style – was $8kg, now $6kg
      2. Birds Eye Oven Bake Fish 425g – was $10.50, now $8 each
      3. Woolworths Corned Australian Beef Silverside – was $12kg, now $10kg
      4. Australian RSPCA Approved Chicken Breast Stir Fry 500g – was $9, now $8 each
      5. Latina Filled Pasta 625g – was $11, now $8.50 each
      6. D’Orsogna Shortcut Bacon 1kg – was $19.50, now $13
      7.Golden Crumpets Squares 6pk 425g – was $4.90, now $3.50
      8. Steggles Chicken Breast Fingers 1kg – was $13.50, now $12
      9. Bulla Creamy Classics Ice Cream 2 Litre – was $10, now $6.80

Will these discounts help lower your weekly grocery bill or do you think Woolies should do more to lower prices across the board?
