Set up an iPhone or iPad hotspot

A wifi hotspot allows you to share your mobile data with other devices nearby and it can be a lifesaver while travelling. Find out how to set it up for iPhone and iPad in this quick video.

Today we’re going to show you how you can turn your smartphone or tablet into a portable wifi hotspot. To turn it on, first unlock your iPhone or iPad and open up settings. Now tap ‘Personal Hotspot’.

Tap this button to turn the hotspot on and you can find instructions below to connect to the hotspot using wifi, bluetooth or USB. Simply tap the button again when you would like to turn it off.
